Although I miss some things from the USA, Chile, as I see it, has some definite advantages over the USA presently. They have a health care system that is reasonable, afforable and free if you are too poor. Gas prices are already very high here so Chile already has that factored into their economy. They aren't paying for a war nor experiencing a economic crisis. There are less people here - less crowded more resources only 15 million people or so in all of the country. Things I miss about the USA mainly. Friends and Family Live Music A variety of good restaurants. Availability of High Speed Internet. I think you will love Mendoza, Argentina .. I had a great time there .. Argentina was the place to be in 2002 till 2005. Its still great now but more expensive and perhaps headed to another crisis. The exchange rate was sooo good it was insane .. now its about equal to Chile.
